Thankful Thursday

We have had a great first week of summer. Here are a few things the Herrig family is thankful for:

* our GG

* Ashton winning her soccer game (Kennedy is still telling everyone that Ashton's team is called...Ashton, when actually it is Sergeant Bluff!) Her daddy is proud (that is where he went to school)!

* a relaxing trip back to SC (pictures coming soon)

* a safe return trip home

* our first parents meeting for Kennedy's preschool

* Kennedy's first school supply list...so exciting!

* Kennedy's A1C levels (average blood sugar levels for the last 3 months) being 7.4, down from 8.9 in January. Sources say for kids from ages 6 & under with diabetes their averages should be between 7.5 and 8. This A1C shows that Kennedy's levels have been really good and that makes us all very happy:)

* getting to see Kevin and Maryann

* getting so see the Moody clan...they are always so sweet to the girls

* a new background on my blog (right Brad!!)

* dancing at the weddings

* lazy summer days

* our new swingset is getting put up this week...yah!
