A Visit with Santa

The Mid-Continent Library had a visit with Santa evening and we took the girls so they could whisper their Christmas wishes in Santa's ear. Santa told a very interesting story about the Civil War and blah, blah, blah...way above the kids' heads, but Kennedy sat through the whole story listening and asking questions about the story...Reagan got up to look at books with Ben. After the story the girls got to sit on Santa's lap and Kennedy asked for a fish, while Reagan asked for a Dora doll from the pancake store (a doll she saw when we were at Bob Evans!). I was so proud of the girls that they talked to Santa and that Kennedy was brave enough to sit on his lap, they wouldn't go near him last year! They each got a candy cane and we were on our merry way!!!
