Seems we just can't stay healthy at the Herrig house...Reagan has been battling a fever since Thursday night and is still hanging onto it today. I am going to give her one more night and if we still are giving her the wonder-drug (Motrin) through the night I am calling the doctor in the morning. I hate to spend another heap of money on a co-pay and prescription but don't think I have much choice!

We are looking forward to celebrating Reagan's 2 year old birthday next Sunday, hard to believe she is already going to be 2...wow, how time flies.

Kennedy is recovering from her scare last week and we are trying to get her blood sugar numbers back within normal range. I changed her insulin amounts for each meal today and am hoping that makes a difference for her.

Ben and I got to enjoy a night out with adults on Saturday. Ben had a work event and it was a Hawaiian theme. We received plenty of odd stares as we walked around in our shorts and flipflops in the middle of a blizzard!! It was a great night of meeting new friends, having some drinks, laughing, fake gambling, and enjoying time together. Thanks to my mom and dad for taking the girls for us.

Tomorrow we are back to the grindstone but there is an end in sight. My spring break is the following week and we all leave for a skiing trip to Colorado on the 8th. Perfect timing since they just got dumped on by Mother Nature. I will give skiing another shot...maybe for just one day instead of two like Ben. The girls are so excited to go and see their cousins Luke and Grace, and to play in all the snow! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for a fast week!
