While most normal parents update monthly, I on the other hand, am a little behind...so I will update you on the boys at their 9 week mark:) Life with 4 little ones is getting to be more "normal" for us each day...not to say we don't have our ups and downs, but we seem to be getting the hang of it. The boys are now cooing and smiling at us a lot...the girls love it when they smile at them and it is darling to watch them interact with the boys.
We are working on tummy time, Landon does very well and is able to lift his head and look around back and forth for quite a while...Cole, on the other hand, is furious about this thing called tummy time and is quite stubborn. He lifts his head enough to cry louder and continues to cry until he is picked up! Landon has found his fist and fingers and is having a fabulous time sucking away on them, while his mommy is having a heck of a time keeping them out of his mouth!! Trying to prevent a thumb sucker-wish me luck. Cole has developed quite an attachment to his blankie. I discovered it the other day when he was fussing and fighting sleep, I stuck the blanket up by his face and he instantly calmed down...wow it's amazing how we find these things out, but so glad I did. They both love their Fisher Price aquarium bouncers...keeps them entertained for quite awhile. One final thing that we are quite excited about is their sleep schedule...we feed them between 9 and 10pm and put them down for bed and they have been sleeping until 5:30 or 6am. Quite fabulous:) What's our trick??? Car seats...we buckle them in and they are put on each side of our bed. Eventually we will move them to their cribs, but for now...this is working for all of us!! Sleep...ahhhhh! Here is Cole sleeping in his carseat with his blankie.
We are so in love with these boys and we look at them with wonder and awe...such miracles. We feel very blessed to have such a wonderful family:)
